Server Rules
To ensure everyone has a great experience on Moxiecraft, all players are expected to follow these rules. Breaking the rules may result in warnings, temporary bans, or permanent bans, depending on the severity of the violation.
1. No Griefing
- Griefing is the modification of other players build. That Includes the adding to or breaking parts of others builds, even if said modifications are temporary. So please look but don't touch when it comes to others builds.
2. No Cheating
- Play fair, do not use modifications that will give you an upper hand over other players. This includes modded clients like Meteor, Impact, Future, and Lambda.
3. No Spamming
- Avoid excessive messaging, advertising, or any form of spam in chat.
4. Act Responsibly
- We tolerate some trolling between community members, but when someone says “stop” make sure you stop. This rule is only monitored by administrators.
Discord Rules
*Follow discord TOS. *Follow harassment rule (rule 4). *Keep discord topics related to their respective channels.
Appeals
- Ban appeals are taken by Discord. Ask a staff for the @appeal role and wait for an administrator to be available.
Disputes and Specifics
Worlddownloading and using the server seed?
We do not punish people for finding out the seed or asking what it is. However, if you use the seed to take advantage of it and say for an instance: claim every nether fortress and stronghold; thats a good reason to ban you under rule 2 for cheating. Worlddownloading falls under the same umbrella, if you want to worlddownload inorder to have your build saved or to share it online, go ahead! Just do not use worlddownloading to find specific things (like open chests) or use it to xray.
Build Permissions
All builds are owned by their original builder unless sold or given to another player with proof. A builds owner gets priority over their build and their word is final. All blocks placed by you are owned by you, unless you are adding to another players build. If you terraform an area you control it, same if you fence off an area. Though, if that area has a preexisting build the preexisting build takes priority and you will need to re-do your fence.
Rouge Blocks and Debris
If theres random rouge blocks or bits of debris on the ground (i.e, blocks used to tower up a cliff, a 1 wide monoblock bridge over a gap) you are free to remove it if you feel comfortable doing so.
