+Clifftown (aka. //Cliffside Town//) was begun by [[player:Sweetcorm]], when he, after leaving Ottawa, where he found an awesome cliff face, upon which he thought he'd build a nice house, tried to find one on Moxiecraft. Fortunately, after some searching, [[http://map.moxiecraft.org:8123/?worldname=Terrafirma&mapname=surface&zoom=2&x=-77&y=64&z=-284#terrafirma:887:44:-1756:248:0.17:1.02:0:0:perspective|he found one]]. Albeit, not this one, actually. He merely followed a river until he saw some rocky shores of an ocean. After using the live map for the fist time though and finding that location, he spotted a significantly more impressive looking wall of rock to the south, where he eventually settled on his little fisher boat. When did that occur? In the fist week of the server's existance, on the first of October. After that, on the 13<sup>th</sup>, the rail connection was created, after which this place has slowly been getting inhabited by more and more people

+===== Terms of Residence =====
+These are the conditions, you must agree to, to join the town. The ones listed here are the exact same ones that you can find ingame as they are, on the rules raft (small bamboo structure). Changing these bullet points will not change the actual agreement, as the only thing that is of importance is the book in the lectern!
+  - You are allowed to take any unclaimed spot on/at the cliff to build a building
+  - An unclaimed spot is any spot that isn't used by a different player or set out to remain plain; a spot can be left plain by the one who claims it, but if needed, it can be unclaimed
+  - If your build isn't complete for a long enough period of time, that it is considered an eyesore by your neighbours, it can be removed upon their, the mayor's or my request (with prior warning of course)
+  - Any town resident is fully entitled to use of any community project that is built in the town
+  - Any player permanently modifying other player's builds is grief. Temporaty scaffolding (not just skaffolding blocks) and water bucket clutching are allowed, but will be considered grief if the scaffolding blocks aren't removed in 5-10 minutes after the person, who placed them finished using them.
+  - Stealing from chests is unacceptible behaviour. You shall be publically shamed.
+  - PvP is not permitted not in designated areas
+  - Player shops must have an ender chest close by
+  - Any adjustments to this agreement will be assumed to be argeed upon, unless stated otherwise by the person
+  - Any building on the Clifftown land will be seen as agreement to these terms period. If the person disagrees with the terms after reading them after they are updated, they do not need to remove their builds. Clifftown land is marked by a pink fence and is usually running along the road as its border

+Clifftown is an semi-freebuild area, where each build belongs to its builder, but the rights of ownership may be seised upon mayor's decision in persuasion of public interest. This specifically is used to clean unfinished builds, but may be applied to any other special case. //You may object the act.//
