Category:Warps: Difference between revisions

On Moxiecraft, we have a system of warps, for players to get around the world quicker. Warps are teleport points, that can accessed through a GUI with /warps ingame, or, alternatively, one can type /warp [name] to teleport to a specific one. Warps exist to make towns accessible and help them grow. In order for a town to gain a warp, it must meet the following requirements:

• A railway leading to a distinguished location*
• A road or boat route leading to at least two other distinguished locations*
• A population of at least 5 people, at least 2 of which must be active on the server
• An age of at least 2 months
• At least 3 public non-automatic farms
• Three of the following seven: a happy ghast terminal, at least two stocked shops, an internal rail system (e.g. funicular, tram or metro), at least 2 automatic public farms, a rest stop / hotel, a museum, or a harbour / port.
• A high quality wiki page in the settlement category, listed with all of the required infobox fields, description of the town and at least three important pieces of information (e.g. a list of members, a map, a flag, a table of districts, the town rules, etc.)
• A unique aspect about the town (i.e. something that distinguishes it from others, be it some farm, or location, or theme)

*In relation to the warp requirements, a 'distinguished location' is either a settlement different from / outside the current one, or a rail hub/junction, or an intermodal connection to another distinguished location, or a location accessible via teleportation

When a warp is removed it will, most likely, be added to /warp OldWarps.

All requests are reviewed by admins on a case-by-case basis, so make sure to @ one of them when they’re online to check whether your town is eligible.
