Server Rules

The server rules are in place to keep players safe and make playing on the server enjoyable for all community members. There are four rules in total that players need to follow when playing on Moxiecraft. Enforcement of the rules varies player to player and case to case. Breaking of the rules will result in a ban.

1. No Griefing - It is modifying someone else's build without their prior permission "Modifying" is breaking even one block or adding even one block to their build.
2. No Cheating - It is using any mods or client that allows unfair advantages that other players would not have.  Examples include Xray, Player Radar, Flyhack, Auto-Aim, Auto-attack.
3. No Spamming - Flooding chat with anything intended to make it hard for others to use chat properly.  This can mean repetitive text, nonsense text, or many lines filling up the chat window.
4. No harassment/bullying - If you're here trying to offend others intentionally, or to mess up the ability of other players to just play properly, you're probably a dick and our server is better off without you.

Bans

Break a rule bad enough or break rules too many times and you will get banned from the server. Players can appeal bans on the server discord with an admin. Be patient though, admins are not always available and they do not have to do your appeal if they do not want to or think you are not ready for an appeal.

Landclaims, Debris, and the rules

Debris

Debris are random blocks you will find people have placed to scale mountains, walls, cross gaps, or they may just be one or two random torches in the wilderness. You are allowed to remove debris if you find it, just be careful that it isn't actually part of a build. Only touch something if you are sure about it not being a proper build.

Landclaims

Landclaims are a term used to describe player claimed land. Players are entitled to areas of land they either fence off, make a clear border around, or terraform. In the case of disputes whoever was there first usually takes priority. However, it is up to whichever staff is online and players history which side is taken.
