Welcome to the Moxiecraft Wiki!

Moxiecraft is a fresh Minecraft: Java Edition survival server (SMP), running on version 1.21.6; the server has something for everyone: a large map to explore, building, automation, trading, settlements, dungeons and much more! There is also a small amount of Vanilla+ features, enabled by the various plugins, that don’t take away from the vanilla feel, yet still provide invaluable QoL additions to the gameplay.
Please ensure that you read the rules before attempting something! (Preferably ingame as well)

Supplementary Information

Creating Pages on the Wiki

Whenever you decide to create a page on the wiki, please make sure that it is compliant with the style guide for the wiki, otherwise it will become an unreadable mess.

Whenever you change something, put a description and mark whether it’s a minor change (e.g. if the contents of the page stayed essentially the same). On the contrary, announce it in the Discord if it’s a large one.

I will say this in all caps, PUT YOUR PAGES IN CORRECT NAMESPACES! If you don’t, the entire structure of the wiki will become a mess and the pages will eventually be deleted. If you want your page found or be referenced, you must put it in the correct / appropriate namespace.

To navigate the wiki, you can use either the sidebar, the search, or the sitemap. You can also hop from page to page using links in the articles, but that’s not a good way to navigate the wiki.

Putting it here so you’re aware:

  • The search looks for literal text matches, so searching something vague won’t work.
  • The sitemap shows all categories and pages in the wiki as a whole, and even though useful, might get quite cluttered over time.
  • Currently the sidebar is missing many pages, so most of the links in there are empty.

Tutorials

There are currently two tutorial pages:

In the future, when there is more, all of them will be under the tutorial: namespace, but for now, these two will explain to you how to create a profile page for yourself, in order for others to reference you, and how to make a page for a town, if you are building one on the server.

References

  1. The server allows you to modify any block in the world, but any time one does so, the staff are notified thanks to the use of CoreProtect
  2. Very often on this wiki there were references to gems, despite the fact that they were never mentioned anywhere else and/or ingame.
  3. Please consult the formatting guide before doing any major work!

Consult the User's Guide for information on using the wiki software.
