Cadwaladr (also known as Duchy of Cadwaladr) is a duchy founded by HermesOfSuburbia.The town is named after the ancient Welsh king Cadwaladr (Cadwaladr ap Cadwallon) who ruled the kingdom of Gwynedd (Wales) from around 655 A.D to 682 A.D, the date of his death. It sits upon the coastline and is protected by the highlands in the north. The official languages of Cadwaladr are English and Welsh, with German being used unofficially. Agriculture and natural resources are the two biggest contributors to its relatively small economy.

The town is a constitutional monarchy with the duke being the highest available political role of power. It is known to be politically neutral and self-reliant, and its laws are based on rationality rather than moral concepts.
